Your starting prompt.
Test our proposed lead routing rules against [lead dataset]. Apply rules in their stated priority order and show the matched rule, proposed owner and conflicts for every lead. Identify unassigned leads, overloaded owners and changes from current assignments. Build a reviewable simulation with editable rule inputs, preserving current ownership and making no CRM updates until an authorized implementation is requested.
Copy this starting point, then replace the placeholders with your own inputs.
Method and review
Keep the assumptions visible.
Check ownership, identifiers, stage definitions and activity dates before interpreting performance. Preserve the original record IDs and send ambiguous cases for review.

Synthetic illustrative example
See the method in practice.
Synthetic input. Illustrative output checked locally; this is not a live Proforma run or customer result. Proposed UK owner Rae has capacity for one lead; no eligible US fallback is configured. This table is an App design preview.
These invented records explain the method. They are not a recorded Proforma run.
| Lead | Region | Company size | Current owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| L-1 | UK | 50 | Sam |
| L-2 | UK | 80 | Rae |
| L-3 | US | 30 | Sam |
| Lead | Matched rule | Proposed owner | Review |
|---|---|---|---|
| L-1 | UK → Rae | Rae | Change proposed; 2 leads / 1 capacity |
| L-2 | UK → Rae | Rae | Unchanged; capacity conflict |
| L-3 | Fallback | Unassigned | No eligible US owner |
Method
Apply region rules in declared order, then aggregate proposed assignments against capacity. The illustrative App would let a reviewer edit policy inputs; current owners remain intact.
What the result tells you
Two UK matches do not produce a feasible assignment because Rae can accept only one. L-3 needs an approved fallback. No App is installed and no CRM assignment is executed here.
